Allan Zadiraka

Allan J. (Zeke) Zadiraka died suddenly on October 6, 2023. Allan was born in Berwick, Pennsylvania in 1944. He graduated with a degree in electrical engineering from Penn State. After graduation, he began his 44-year tenure with Babcock & Wilcox in Barberton.

Allan is survived by his wife of 48 years, Judith. Survivors also include: his brother Dean (Bev); sister-in-law Nanette Wroe; niece Gretchen (Maha) Muzumdar; nephew Craig Adams; and great nephews Zachary and Nathan Muzumdar.

Allan began his lifelong interest in ham radio as a teenager. AB8OU participated in many ham radio functions in the Northeastern Ohio area including: Hamfest; group lunches; meetings and events. Allan was enjoying his retirement attending a ham radio group luncheon on the day he died.

Per Allan's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
