Agnes Day Lettieri passed away on August 6, 2026. In a final and deeply meaningful reflection of the love that defined her life, Agnes passed away on the very day she and Frank celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary. After nearly five decades of walking through life together, she left this world on the day that marked the beginning of their life as husband and wife-a poignant closing to a love story that will endure far beyond this life.

Like the prayer of St. Agnes, which asks for the grace to love faithfully, endure suffering with courage, and remain steadfast in hope, Agnes Day lived a life that reflected those very virtues. She met life's joys with gratitude, its hardships with quiet strength, and her final chapter with remarkable grace. Though our hearts are broken, we are forever grateful to have been loved by her. 

Agnes leaves behind her beloved husband, Frank; her loving daughters, Jane Day Stathopoulos (Theo) and Lauren Maria Fisher (Steve); and the grandchildren who brought her endless joy: Audrey Agnes, Francesca Day, Frank William, Angelo Yiannis, and Margaret Theresa. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00am Thursday, August 13, at St. Hilary Catholic Church, followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) Foundation.
